How to set up a teleprompter on iPhone

Download CreatorCue from the App Store

Search "CreatorCue" on the App Store or follow the link on this page. The app is free. Install it and open it. No account required.

Add your script

Tap the "+" button to create a new script. Type directly, paste from your clipboard, or import a DOCX, PDF, or TXT file. Keep paragraphs short. 15-20 words per sentence reads best on a teleprompter.

Adjust font size

Set the font so each line holds 4-7 words at arm's length. Bigger text means less eye scanning and more natural delivery. When in doubt, go bigger.

Enable Voice Scroll and film

Turn on Voice Scroll, hold your iPhone at eye level, and start talking. The teleprompter follows your voice. Use the built-in camera to record directly, or position the phone below your filming camera as a standalone prompter.
